Special Issue on Dietary Intakes

“The Department of Nutrition for Health and Development, in collaboration with FAO, continually reviews new research and information from around the world on human nutrient requirements and recommended nutrient intakes. This is a vast and never-ending task, given the large number of essential human nutrients. These nutrients include protein, energy, carbohydrates, fats and lipids, a range of vitamins, and a host of minerals and trace elements.”

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring dietary intakes. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Energy and nutrient needs
• Dietary reference intakes
• Dietary assessment
• Nutrition-related health concerns
• Eating behaviors of children and adolescents
• Malnutrition

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Dietary Intakes” should be selected during your submission.
