As the application of wireless network has been used widely, the security problem is becoming a hot topic of concern. Identification of wireless network attack has an important status in the current research. In this paper, based on the researches of intrusion detection technology and principles of the WEP attacks, a WEP attack data set construction method is proposed. By referencing to KDD 99, this paper presented characteristics set of the WEP attack under wireless network. Through the experiments, the process of building the attack data set is completely realized, and the attack characteristics are selected. Experiments show the constructed data set describing the WEP attack well with availability, which means a lot to build multiple types attack data sets under wireless network.
