Abstract: Model transformations are at the core of model-driven software engineering. Their definition requires considerable expertise and efforts. Such effort must be unfortunately reinvested each time a change is induced on the meta-model of the source model. This paper presents a new approach that identifies the impact of meta-model changes on model transformations. This approach assists developers in limiting the transformation rules that must be redefined and/or re-executed after a meta-model change. It identifies changes through a change meta-model that provides for traceability between changes and modeling elements. In addition, it uses a control flow graph technique to trace the impact of changes on model transformations.
