Abstract: This paper gives a survey on case-based reasoning (CBR) and its relation with information fusion. The main content of the paper consists of two parts. The first part highlights the general CBR concept as well as the knowledge modeling issue in CBR systems development. The second part is devoted to exploration of relation between CBR and information fusion. We discuss how CBR can be viewed in an information fusion framework and how both methodologies can support each other.
