Equipment management is the important foundation of production and operation management in modern enterprises. Traditional equipment management has many problems which hiders the enterprise’s development, enterprise should make some changes in original equipment management model to adapt the increasingly intense market competition. As an advanced equipment management model, TPM plays an important role in modern enterprise equipment management.This paper analysis the connotation and the advantage of TPM, with the research on problems of enterprise equipment management in China. And then this paper presents applications of TPM in the enterprises, also proposes the corresponding solutions to TPM implementation.
