The Asian financial crises broke out in 2008. It brought the East Asian monetary cooperation into schedule, in which exchange rate cooperation plays an important role. From the aspect of the dilemma in the choice of exchange rate of East Asian countries, the paper expounds the problem of East Asian exchange rate cooperation on the basis of the monetary cooperation model. And then puts forward the necessity and the realistic channels for the establishment of exchange rate cooperation mechanism in East Asian.
