Abstract:

In order to analyze the effect of surface hairiness on linen fabric and fiber bending resistance on prickle of linen clothing, this paper determined the diameter and number of surface hairiness on linen fabric,and the fiber bending resistance. Besides, wearing experiments were carried out to evaluate prickle of linen clothing. The results show that the thick and hard hairiness is an important factor to cause human body scratchiness, and the diameter of single fiber which makes linen fabric clothing produce wearing prickle is 16 μ m or above.
