Abstract: On the background of expansion of the coal industry chain, four possible lock-in effects , "technology lock-in", "culture lock-in," "system lock-in" and " structural lock-in" are sort out from the life cycle of industry chain of coal in this paper. The technology lock-in on the impact of carbon emissions in China were analyzed, and the corresponding solution of the trivial path, made a thorough study of the practical significance of this issue.
