Abstract: In order to analyze the impact of the thermoelectric properties of the trough concentrating combined solar Photovoltaic/Thermal system with focus line width, A mathematic model of the thermoelectric properties of the trough concentrating PV/T system had been established. The impact of the thermoelectric properties of the trough concentrating combined solar Photovoltaic/Thermal system with focus line width had been analyzed. The calculation based on the model is agreeable with experimental results, the average errors between calculations and experiments are less 6.5%. When the focal line width reduces 10 percents, experimental data and the theoretical data of heat exergy power of super cell and polycrystalline silicon cell respectively have an average increase of 0.296 W and 0.30 W﹑0.12 W and 0.13 W; When the focus line width decreases 1%, the maximum output power of super cell with better electrical properties reduces 0.1342 W-0.2566 W. All those work are benefits to further study in improving the efficiency of solar concentrating trough system and cosmically making use of concentrating PV/T system.
