Abstract: Since the end of 1970s, with the rapidly economic development, China’s energy demand has constantly increased and environment problems have become more and more serious. Meanwhile, The United Nation Climate Change Conference held in Copenhagen in 2009 makes us pay more attention to environmental problems. Nowadays, China releases the most quantity of carbon dioxide in the world. For dealing with the serious environment problems in the future, it’s necessary to cut down the emissions of greenhouse gases. So based on the evolving tendency of china’s energy structure, the future growth of economy and energy demand is prognosticated with time series analysis, and ultimately the optimization design of China’s energy structure is presented. Through the optimized energy structure, the aim of per unit GDP’s carbon dioxide emission is expected to be realized successfully in the 2020.
