The concept of sinter cooling chamber, a new sinter cooling equipment which might replace popular sinter cooling units, has been put forward. Design calculation shows that a 50t/h sinter cooling chamber can produce 550℃ air nearly 40000Nm3/h, combine with sinter waste gas, 1500kW turbine could be drive, compared with popular equipment which could not generate electricity with recovered ~300℃ higher or lower gas rationally. Electricity consumption level may at lowest level in all cooling equipment. Investment will be recovered within 4 years and 63 million net RMB benefit will get within 20 years operating life for a 24m2 sinter.
