Abstract: For the purpose of studying the synthesis conditions of aegirine in baiyunebo iron ore by solid phase reaction, the start temperature and the initial product of solid phase reaction of the two research systems during heating process, Na2O-Fe2O3-SiO2 and Na2O·Fe2O3-SiO2 systems with chemical reagents as raw materials are studied by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. The results show that aegirine can be synthesized for Na2O-Fe2O3-SiO2 system by improving kinetic condition of the solid state reaction under 780℃, it is difficult to synthesize the aegirine for Na2O·Fe2O3-SiO2 by solid phase reaction.
