Special Issue on
Earth Observation
for Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions
Ocean–atmosphere
interactions involve exchanges of heat, mass (water) and chemical components.
The other exchanges of matter between the two environments, ocean and atmosphere,
are numerous and extremely important for the climate and the dynamic and biogeochemical
behavior of the oceans and atmosphere. Tropical cyclones are among the sea's
most intense meteorological phenomena. The ocean–atmosphere
interactions are involved in small‐scale
processes but with spatial and temporal variations on all scales. The goal of
this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all
over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and
developments in the area of Earth Observation for Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Earth Observation for
Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions. In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Surface
wave dynamics
-
Air-sea
fluxes
-
Upper
ocean turbulence
-
Ocean–atmosphere
interactions in the tropical and subtropical Atlantic ocean
-
Dynamics
of ocean atmosphere exchange
-
Ocean
atmosphere sulfur exchange
-
Ocean
atmosphere carbon exchange
-
The
remote sensing of ocean surface phenomena using electromagnetic and acoustic
techniques
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue - Earth Observation for Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions” should be chosen
during your submission.
