Special Issue on Materials Chemistry

Materials chemistry involves the use of chemistry for the design and synthesis of materials with interesting or potentially useful physical characteristics, such as magnetic, optical, structural or catalytic properties. It also involves the characterization, processing and molecular-level understanding of these substances. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Materials Chemistry.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Materials Chemistry. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Surface modification  
• Energy materials, green materials
• Optical and optoelectronic materials
• Electronic, magnetic and semiconductor materials
• Modelling of materials
• Rational molecular design
• Green/sustainable materials
• Self-cleaning materials

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
