ABSTRACT: Lumbar disc herniation is a clinically common spinal disorder, often manifested as pain in the lumbar and leg regions, affecting patients’ quality of life. This study summarizes external treatment methods in traditional Chinese medicine for lumbar disc herniation-related pain and evaluates their efficacy, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of such pain and improve patient comfort.
