ABSTRACT: This study aims to explore the role and potential of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology, particularly digital human technology, in the international dissemination of Shaoxing Lu Town Shexi. As an intangible cultural heritage, the international dissemination of Shaoxing Lu Town Shexi holds significant value for cultural diversity and global cultural dialogue. The research first outlines its importance in international communication and analyzes the cultural value of Shaoxing Lu Town Shexi and the challenges it faces in global dissemination. Based on this, the paper examines how AIGC could enhance the cultural adaptability and creativity of Shexi translations. Furthermore, the study employs methods such as literature analysis, fieldwork, and surveys to investigate how digital human technology, as a cultural ambassador, can improve the interactivity and relevance of translations in the Shexi dissemination process. Finally, the paper evaluates the effectiveness of Shaoxing Lu Town Shexi’s international dissemination based on survey data, offers recommendations for the practical application of international communication, and explores future research directions on using AIGC and digital human technologies in the transmission of cultural heritage.Subject AreasJournalism and Communication
