ABSTRACT: As breakdance became an Olympic competitive sport, institutions of higher learning are offering breakdance as a specialized course, but the ensuing uneven evaluation standards and lack of uniformity have hampered the development of the breakdance discipline. Based on Trivium Value System, this article designed a comprehensive breakdance scoring criteria for colleges and universities offering breakdance education. The criterion is divided into four dimensions, namely physical quality, musicality interpretative, artistic quality and classroom performance, to evaluate the teaching effectiveness of breakdance education. The research aims to improve the scoring criteria for breakdance education to provide breakdance teachers with a clear and comprehensive reference to help their progress in the field of education. At the same time, the scoring criteria are designed to emphasize that students should have multiple competencies to provide a uniform reference for scoring breakdance education.
