  ABSTRACT: e-Health—a new form of health care service using information technology—has received a great deal of academic attention in the past. What can we learn from these prior studies? This article analyses the development of prior work using the scientific literature related to e-Health from the Web of Science core database. Our systematic review suggest that: 1) IT adoption is the most important research topic in this field, 2) Research methods are growing in diversity, 3) Research topics are reasonably differentiated.
