ABSTRACT: Breast cancer stem cells (BCSCs) are a small subpopulation of cancer cells having the ability of
self-renewing and multi-lineage differentiation, which have also been termed as
“tumor-initiating cells”. And in recent
years, the role of epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) in
malignant tumors has been valued. This
paper will briefly review and discuss the relationship between BCSCs and EMT.
