ABSTRACT: The subjective structure with comparative structure is one of the commonly used structures in modern Chinese spoken language. It is highly subjective with a large number of subjective structures. This paper makes a detailed analysis of the structure of “There is no more Y than X” from the aspects of syntactic function, semantics and pragmatics. From the perspective of structure grammar theory, this paper discusses the construction method of Chinese as a foreign language in order to provide some reference for Chinese teaching.
