ABSTRACT: The salary gap is an important content in the design of salary system
inside enterprises. The effect of salary gap on recipients and performances can
totally be explained by the tournament theory and the behavioral theory. This
paper concludes relative theories and previous empirical studies so that we
hope it will make a contribution to prospective researches and salary practice
in our country.
