ABSTRACT: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of the main works that show Mark Twain’s culture-nature philosophy, but few scholars have explored the culture-nature conflict in this novel. This paper illustrates the Mark Twain-esque culture-nature conflict based on a close reading of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in the context of the culture-nature theories.
