ABSTRACT: Purpose: The aim was to evaluate the serum levels of D-Dimer during normal pregnancy and in that complicated by preeclampsia, identify their associations with maternal variables and gestational, and these verite role of D-Dimer in preeclampsia inflammation. Material and Methods: Cross-sectional, multicenter study conducted in Kinshasa on pregnant women carrying a single pregnancy between 24 and 40 weeks, without any co morbidities; preeclampsia pregnant women between 24 and 40 weeks, with no other co morbidity. The clinical information was collected. Serum levels of D-Dimers were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 35 Preeclampsia patients and 84 controls. Results: A total of 119 pregnant women including 84 no-preeclampsia and 35 preeclampsia were registered. Between pregnant preeclampsia and pregnant no preeclampsia, the gestational age and the BMI were significantly different (p-value
