ABSTRACT: Developmental dysplasia of hip is a disorder of abnormal development of the hip joint resulting early osteoarthritis of the hip. In late stage of disease, total hip arthroplasty is the option to reduce pain. Total hip arthroplasty in development dyplastic hip is a very challenging procedure in view of abnormal anatomy and biomechanic of the hip. A proper pre-operative planning is important of successful surgery. We report a case of a 60-year-old woman with neglected DDH with severe hip pain, who underwent total hip replacement with good result.
