ABSTRACT: In the traditional teaching mode, students passively receive knowledge, which does not fully stimulate their enthusiasm and innovation. With the development of the Internet, blended teaching mode comes into being and has become one of the main ways of teaching reform.We introduce the blended teaching mode firstly. And then, we take the undergraduate discrete mathematics course, which is one of the most important courses of computer science, as an example, analyze its characteristics and the shortcomings of the current teaching mode. The application of blended teaching mode is imperative. Finally, we explore the application and design of the blended teaching mode based on flipped class on the undergraduate discrete mathematics course.
