ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study is to analyse the efficiency of banks operating in the
Mauritian economy through the Data Envelopment Analysis. The DEA methodology
has been applied and scores were generated to assess the efficiency
levels of Mauritian banks. The study concentrates on 10 sampled banks out of
the 22 banks operating in the economy for the period 2011 to 2015.
