Abstract: The paper is to put forward the idea of student-centered in PE selective coursesthrough analyzing their definitions, styles, characters and the importance of students’dominant position. It concludes that the traditional teaching methods of PE selectivecourses must bi changed, in which the teacher is the lord. The point is to cultivate students’dominant position. The conclusion is that the role of the teachers should transfer fromfeeding-persons to shepherds, they are to cultivate students’ interest in PE and students willenjoy the pleasant of PE. In this course, the students will have the sense of harvest, and thePE Core talents will be brought up in the course. The sense of dominant position comesinto being in the course of students’ self-evaluation.
