Naval Military Operations in Bonny during the Nigerian Civil War 1967-1970 ()
Abstract
The importance and role of the Navy in the Nigerian Civil War, 1967-1970 have not attracted any
scholarly attention in the burgeoning scholarship of the civil war. This study is an attempt at introducing the navy in the discourse of the war. More importantly, they not only made strides in
our knowledge of naval warfare but also played a significant role in the outcome of the war.
