ABSTRACT

Chongqing Friends High School has experienced four periods of school-running. The first period is “Friends school-running period” which is the start-up period of Friends High School. The second period is “Private Chongqing Friends High School period” when it becomes famous historic school in China. Discussion about school-founding time is inseparable from school-running thought. To employ the method of re-establishing value orientation of school history research, the study of Friends High School history seeks formation process, shape, connotation characteristics, practical experience, internal vitality of school-running thought and educational thought of famous century-old Friends High School in Chongqing.
