Special Issue on Cryptography and Network Security
Cryptography
is the practice and study of techniques for secure communication in the
presence of third parties called adversaries. More generally, cryptography is
about constructing and analyzing protocols that prevent third parties or the
public from reading private messages; various aspects in information security
such as data confidentiality, data integrity, authentication, and
non-repudiationare central to modern cryptography.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Cryptography and Network Security. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Coding theory and cryptology
-
Cryptographic algorithms
-
Data encryption standard
-
