Special Issue on Agriculture and Ecology

Agriculture is an important global human enterprise that exerts a major influence on ecosystems. Even as we work to understand and better manage biodiversity and ecosystem functioning within agri-ecosystems, both agriculture and the global context in which it operates are undergoing major change. The natural environment is increasingly threatened, resources are becoming scarcer, the human population is growing, human diets are changing, and climate change is exerting its influence. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Agriculture and Ecology.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Agriculture and Ecology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• The benefits or ecological farming
• Ecological crop and soil management
• Grow healthy plants with good defense capabilities
• Enhance beneficial organisms
• Agroecological restoration
• Agroecosystem analysis
• Agricultural waste disposal
• Crop management and environmental quality
• Agricultural ecophysiology, community ecology, and ecosystems ecology
• Ecological perspective on agricultural production and resource utilization
• Ecological science in support of sustainable food production systems
• Ecosystem function in agricultural systems
• Conservation ecology in agricultural systems and agri-environment schemes

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Agriculture and Ecology” should be selected during your submission.
