Special Issue on Computer Vision and Applications

Computer Vision and Applications is an academic field focused on enabling computers to interpret and understand visual information from images and videos. It studies algorithms and models for image processing, object detection, recognition, scene understanding and visual learning, as well as their practical applications in areas such as healthcare, autonomous systems, surveillance, robotics and multimedia technologies.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Computer Vision and Applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Object detection and recognition
• Face and biometric recognition
• Video analysis and action recognition
• Machine vision
• Vision-based intelligent systems
• 3D vision and depth estimation
• Medical image analysis

• Deep learning for computer vision
• Vision for augmented, virtual and mixed reality

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Computer Vision and Applications” should be chosen during your submission.
