Special Issue on Chinese Culture and Society
Chinese
Culture and Society investigates the historical, social, and cultural
foundations of China alongside contemporary developments that shape everyday
life. The field addresses philosophy, literature, art, religion, language,
family structures, social norms, and values, highlighting their influence on
individual behavior, identity, and community organization. It also considers
political, economic, and technological transformations, urbanization, and
globalization, and how these processes affect social change and cultural
continuity. By combining historical context with modern social analysis, this
area provides insights into the complexity of Chinese society and the
interaction between tradition and modernity.
