Special Issue on Biodiversity and Ecological Sciences
Biodiversity
and Ecological Sciences is an interdisciplinary field that studies the variety
of life on Earth, the complex interactions among organisms, and their
relationships with the environment. It encompasses the exploration of species
diversity, genetic variation, ecosystem functions, and the processes that
sustain ecological balance. This field plays a crucial role in understanding
the impacts of human activity, climate change, habitat loss, and invasive
species on natural systems. By integrating scientific research with
conservation strategies, policy development, and sustainable management
practices, biodiversity and ecological sciences aim to protect ecosystems,
preserve species, and maintain the resilience of the natural world for future
generations.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Biodiversity and Ecological Sciences. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Biodiversity monitoring and assessment
-
Climate change ecology
-
Community ecology
-
Conservation biology
-
Ecological modeling and data analysis
-
Ecosystem ecology
-
Forest and terrestrial ecosystems
-
Functional biodiversity
-
Genetic diversity and evolution
-
Human-wildlife interactions
-
Invasive species management
-
Landscape ecology
-
Marine and freshwater ecology
-
Population ecology
-
Restoration ecology
-
Species diversity and taxonomy
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission
System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Biodiversity
and Ecological Sciences” should be selected during your submission.
