Special Issue on Plant Tissue Culture
Plant tissue culture involves excising plant
tissues and growing them on nutrient media. It is used rather broadly to
include several variations, such as meristem culture for propagation of
virus-free plants, protoplast culture, cell suspension culture, tissue and
organ culture, and anther or pollen culture for producing haploid plants. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in this area of Plant Tissue Culture.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Plant Tissue Culture. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Basics
of plant cell and tissue culture
-
Tissue
culture in agriculture
-
Germplasm
conservation
-
Embryo
culture
-
Genetic
transformation
-
Potting
the clones
-
Current
and future status of plant tissue culture
-
Transfer
of plant material to tissue culture medium
-
Techniques of plant tissue culture
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue –Plant
Tissue Culture” should be selected
during your submission.
