Special Issue on Forest Environment and Ecology
The forest is
nature’s most efficient ecosystem, with a high rate of photosynthesis affecting
both plant and animal systems in a series of complex organic
relationships. Animals that live in forests
have highly developed hearing, and many are adapted for vertical movement
through the environment. Because food other than ground plants is scarce, many
ground-dwelling animals use forests only for shelter. In temperate forests,
birds distribute plant seeds and insects aid in pollination, along with the
wind. In tropical forests, fruit bats and birds effect pollination. The goal of this special
issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the
world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the
area of forest environment and ecology.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore forest environment and ecology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Ecology
and management of forests
-
Management
and conservation of plantations and natural forests
-
The
ecological role of forest resources
-
Relationship
to other branches of ecology
-
Community
diversity and complexity
-
Ecological potential of forest species
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Forest
Environment and Ecology” should be chosen during your submission.
