Special Issue on Animal Physiology, Nutrition and Feeding
"Animal Physiology, Nutrition and Feeding" is an
interdisciplinary field that explores the biological and biochemical processes
governing animal bodies, with a special focus on dietary needs and feeding
behaviors. It investigates how various nutrients influence growth,
reproduction, health, and overall performance in animals. This academic topic
encompasses the study of digestion, absorption, and metabolism of different
nutrients, the formulation and efficiency of animal diets, and the impact of
nutrition on physiological functions. By understanding the intricacies of
animal nutrition and physiological responses to diet, this field aims to
optimize feeding strategies to enhance animal welfare, productivity, and
sustainability in both domesticated and wild animal populations.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Animal Physiology, Nutrition and Feeding. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Digestive physiology and metabolism
-
Comparative animal physiology
-
Nutritional biochemistry
-
Nutritional immunology
-
Animal nutrition and welfare
-
Animal growth and development
-
Reproductive physiology and breeding
-
Animal behavior and feeding strategies
-
Feed science and technology
-
Biotechnology in livestock production
-
Sustainable animal nutrition and feeding
-
Nutritional physiology of stress and adaptation
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Animal
Physiology, Nutrition and Feeding” should be chosen during your submission.
