Special Issue on Environmental Degradation
This special issue on “Environmental Degradation” will be focusing on the latest development in environmental degradation. Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife. As indicated by the I=PAT equation, environmental impact (I) or degradation is caused by the combination of an already very large and increasing human population (P), continually increasing economic growth or per capita affluence (A), and the application of resource depleting and polluting technology (T). Environmental degradation is of many types, when natural habitats are destroyed or natural resources are depleted, the environment is degraded. Efforts to counteract this problem include environmental protection and environmental resources management. As one of the most important research fields of human life, environmental degradation is of great attractions to researchers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring environmental degradation. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Deterioration of the environment
-
Depletion of natural resources
-
Environmental impact
-
Destroyed natural habitats
-
Increasing human population
-
Environmental degradation
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Environmental Degradation” should be chosen during your submission.
