Special Issue on Pharmaceutical Care Research
Pharmaceutical Care is developed from medical care, which is a patient-centered, outcomes oriented pharmacy practice that requires the pharmacist to work in concert with the patient and the process of patient’s pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist, trained as an expert in medicines, is the last health care provider to be in contact with the patient during the start-up or continuation of a drug, and at the same time he is also his first point of contact with respect to questions about the medicine. Pharmaceutical care will produce specific therapeutic outcomes for the patient, and achieve the elimination or reduction of a patient’s symptomatology. Pharmaceutical care is a necessary element of health care and should be integrated with other elements.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring pharmaceutical care research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
