Special Issue on Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine
Maternal
health is the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum
period. It encompasses the health care dimensions of family planning,
preconception, prenatal, and postnatal care in order to ensure a positive and
fulfilling experience in most cases and reduce maternal morbidity and mortality
in other cases. Maternal health has great effects on child health and
development. Maternal–fetal medicine focuses on managing health concerns of the
mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine. Potential topics include, but are not limited
