Special Issue on Tropical Vegetation
Tropical Vegetation is a general term referring to vegetation in tropical latitudes. Tropical ecosystems harbor rich biodiversity, and are often coupled with high species endemism. Rainforests are home to half of all the living animal and plant species on the planet and roughly two-thirds of all flowering plants can be found in rainforests. Therefore, the research on tropical vegetation may be of great significance.
This special issue aims at providing a platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of tropical vegetation. Potential topics included, but are not limited to:
-
Ecology of tropical vegetation
-
Phytochemistry of tropical vegetation
-
Phytopathology of tropical vegetation
-
Phylogenetics and evolution of tropical vegetation
-
Plant genetics of tropical vegetation
-
Dendrochronology of tropical vegetation
-
Physiology of tropical vegetation
-
Applications of biotechnology in tropical vegetation
-
Ethnobotanical importance of tropical vegetation
