Special Issue on Depression and Anxiety
Depression
is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's
thoughts, behavior, feelings, and sense of well-being. Anxiety is an emotion
characterized by an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by

rumination. These two moods affect human health and social behaviors in many
aspects.
