Special Issue on Fractures and Related Disorders

In medicine, a fracture is a break, usually in a bone. A bone fracture can be the result of high force impact or stress (such as car accidents, falls or sports injuries), or a result of certain medical conditions that weaken the bones (such as osteoporosis). Symptoms includes misshapen limb or joint, swelling, bruising, bleeding, intense pain, numbness, tingling and limited mobility.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Fractures and Related Disorders. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Pathologic fracture
  • Traumatic fracture
  • Periprosthetic fracture
  • Osteoporosis
  • Pelvic fracture
  • Femoral fracture
  • Hip fracture
  • Bone grafting
  • Complications

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Fractures and Related Disorders” should be selected during your submission.
