Special Issue on Escherichia Coli
Escherichia Coli is a gram-negative, facultative anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium that is commonly found in the lower intestine of warm-blooded organisms (endotherms). Most E. coli strains are harmless, but some serotypes can cause serious food poisoning in humans, and are occasionally responsible for product recalls due to food contamination. The harmless strains are part of the normal flora of the gut and can benefit their hosts by producing vitamin K2 and by preventing the establishment of pathogenic bacteria within the intestine. E. coli play a important role in biotechnology and it is a model organism.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring escherichia coli. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Gram-negative bacterium
-
Rod-shaped bacterium
-
Serotypes escherichia coli
-
Escherichia coli metabolism
-
Growth conditions of escherichia coli
-
Pathogenic escherichia coli
-
Escherichia coli disease
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Escherichia Coli” should be chosen during your submission.
