Special Issue on Sports and Children Development


Sports help children develop physical skills, get exercise, build fitness, make friends, have fun, learn teamwork, learn to play fair, learn to manage emotional highs and lows, and improve self-esteem. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Sports and Children Development.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Sports and Children Development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


  • Basic skills
  • Team sports
  • Kids and exercise
  • Movement skill acquisition
  • Stress in youth sport
  • Sports and athletics
  • Developmental sport psychology
  • Children and sports training
  • Childhood growth and motor development
  • Physical activity and fitness enhancement
  • Effective teaching and lesson planning


Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title.
