Special Issue on Semiconductor Physics

Semiconductors are the materials which have a conductivity between conductors (generally metals) and non-conductors or insulators (such as ceramics). Semiconductors can be compounds such as gallium arsenide or pure elements, such as germanium or silicon. Physics explains the theories, properties and mathematical approach governing semiconductors. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Semiconductor Physics.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Semiconductor Physics. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Holes and electrons in semiconductors
  • Band theory of semiconductors
  • Properties of semiconductors
  • Types of semiconductors
  • Preparation of semiconductor materials
  • Physics of semiconductors
  • Semiconductor power devices
  • Applications of semiconductors

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Semiconductor Physics” should be selected during your submission.
