 Special Issue on Nondestructive Testing

Nondestructive Testing, or Non-destructive testing (NDT), is a detection technology which is used to test chemical and physical parameters and defects of materials, parts and equipments by theory technologies of objects’ sound, light and electromagnetism without damaging or influencing the performances of detected objects. Nondestructive testing is an essential tool for industrial development, and it reflects the level of industrial development of a country. The common methods of nondestructive testing are radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing. This special issue will be focusing on studying various methods of nondestructive testing and discussing their practical applications.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring nondestructive testing. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Radiographic testing
  • Ultrasonic testing
  • Magnetic particle testing
  • Liquid penetrant testing
  • Eddy current testing
  • Acoustic emission testing
  • Leak testing

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Nondestructive Testing” should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:
