Special Issue on Applied Anthropology

Applied anthropology is an anthropological study to solve practical problems. It is a discipline in which anthropologists' understanding and knowledge of human beings, culture and society are applied to improve the status quo of human society and promote the development of human society. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Applied Anthropology.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Applied Anthropology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Health and medicine
  • Psychological anthropology
  • Education
  • Theory and practice
  • Disaster research & management
  • Origin, evolution, and diversity of people
  • Cultural change and adaptation
  • Economic anthropology
  • Corporate anthropology
  • Political behavior
  • Urbanization, poverty and neoliberalism

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Applied Anthropology” should be selected during your submission.
