Special Issue on Digital Image Processing and Analysis
Digital
image processing is the use of a digital computer to process digital images
through an algorithm. As a subcategory or field of digital signal processing,
digital image processing has many advantages over analog image processing. It
allows a much wider range of algorithms to be applied to the input data and can
avoid problems such as the build-up of noise and distortion during processing.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Digital Image Processing and Analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Digital image processing algorithms
-
Digital image processing and computer
vision
-
Image processing and computer graphics
-
Digitization, transformation, coding and compression
-
Image restoration and reconstruction
-
Image segmentation
-
Image retrieval and registration
-
AI in imaging processing
-
3D digital image processing
-
Machine vision
-
Remote sensing
-
Object recognition
-
Image processing systems design and development
-
Medical imaging processing
-
Other applications
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Digital Image Processing and Analysis” should be chosen during your submission.
