Special Issue on Social Psychology

Social psychology is the scientific study of how the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined, and implied presence of others, explaining human behavior as being a result of the relationship between mental state and social situation, studying the conditions under which thoughts, feelings, and behaviors occur and how these variables influence social interactions.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Social Psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Social behavior, cognition, attitudes and beliefs
• Social psychology of emotions
• Cognitive, emotional, and motivational processes and social behaviors
• Personality and social psychology
• Interpersonal relationships and mental health
• Social identity approach
• Prosocial behavior
• Love and intimacy
• Social psychology of aggression and violence
• Substance abuse
• Sociocultural factors
• Stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination
• Gender and social influence
• Psychology of groups
• Social psychology of policy analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Social Psychology” should be chosen during your submission.
